I've been building products for 10 years — established products with hundreds of millions of users, and brand new ones starting from zero.
I've taken 3 platforms from 0 to scale: Teachable's B2B suite, music fintech platform HIFI Enterprise (acquired by Block), and an AI video editing platform, Big Room.
Before that, I built apps at WeWork and American Express.
Products I led at work — the problem, the solutions, and what happened after launch.
Teachable had no way for businesses and educators to sell course content to large groups of business learners in a controlled, trackable way. I scoped and shipped a new B2B/Enterprise line on top of our core content tools — bulk content distribution, business-oriented reporting on learner engagement, and new admin permissions for enterprise personas. This suite is a powerful foundation for the new B2B strategy.
Teachable needed a clear point of view on what an AI-native learning experience should feel like for learners. I led product on a cross-functional tiger team defining that broad vision. We identified the highest-signal features to validate in production first, including AI-generated practice exercises with new question types and personalized pre-purchase assessments, and delivered an initial phase of these features.
Media companies and creators need to repurpose long-form videos into short-form vertical ones for YouTube Shorts and TikTok, but manual reformatting doesn't scale. I led the company to design and build an app from 0 to 1 that used proprietary AI to detect bodies, faces, and speech, and auto-convert landscape video into vertical formats. We had loyal users like Buzzfeed/Complex and Hot Ones.
Music accountants had been stitching together royalty data from dozens of disconnected sources by hand. I led the team to build an enterprise royalty analytics dashboard from 0 to scale — scraping and aggregating statements across 10+ services into one searchable, filterable repository. We onboarded royalty revenue from 300+ top artists including Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Bruce Springsteen, and Lil Nas X, which helped drive a $15M+ Series A, and the company was soon after acquired by Block.
Many of this industry-standard music analytics company's core experiences, such as the dashboard and artist pages, hadn't kept pace with how labels and managers actually used the product and were becoming extremely cluttered as more data sources were added in. I led user research and redesigned numerous existing top features, and shipped new features like one of the industry's first "Songwriter" pages — a groundbreaking new data source for music publishers and songwriters — and a Spotify for Artists integration.
WeWork's member apps across iOS, Android, and web were fragmented and poorly rated by the members who relied on them daily. I led the redesign and replatforming of the home tab, building guides, and support flows, and integrated Salesforce and Medallia in place of Zendesk. We doubled our App Store and Google Play ratings.
Smaller products I built myself and with friends.
Fetches new job postings from ~250 tracked companies (scraping Greenhouse/Lever/Ashby + Built In NYC) and scores them against a personal job rubric, then emails a digest of the strong matches. Runs entirely on GitHub Actions.
Given a list of companies, searches LinkedIn for personal connections, alumni from past jobs, product leaders, and recruiters when user is seeking a referral for a job application.
A dating app built upon video profiles and video chatting — backed by Grindr founder Joel Simkhai and Sam Altman. Helped as a consultant.
A daily writing companion built just for my mother-in-law, with rotating prompts on career, confidence, and storytelling, plus a built-in editor for drafting and revisiting pieces over time.
Just for fun - an app that helps users come up with fun remote gathering activities and gets them scheduled.
